Paste a URL and we run every indexing check you can act on: noindex tags, X-Robots-Tag headers, robots.txt rules, canonical conflicts, redirects and error statuses. Whether Google has actually indexed the page is a separate question, and the honest answer is below.
This reads your page and your server. That is enough to prove a page is blocked, and it is never enough to prove a page is indexed, because only Google knows that.
Whether Google has actually indexed the page. Whether it crawled it and decided not to. Whether it picked a different canonical than the one you declared. Whether it dropped the page last week.
Those answers exist only in Search Console, which is why Seomely connects to it, records what it says every day, and tells you when the answer changes.
Connect Search ConsoleSearching site:example.com/page asks the public search box what it will show you right now. It is approximate by design, it varies between data centres and between one minute and the next, and Google has said for years that it is not a diagnostic. A page can be indexed and return nothing. A page can return a result and still be excluded.
An indexation checker built on that is reporting a search box, not the index. It is fast, free and wrong often enough that you cannot act on it.
In Search Console's URL Inspection data, which is Google reporting on its own index: whether the URL is indexed, which canonical it chose, when it last crawled, and why it excluded the page if it did.
That is the only authoritative source, and it is per-property and permissioned, so no public tool can read it for a site it has not been given access to. Seomely reads yours every morning and records what changed, which is the part a one-off indexing check can never give you.
